Wins losses, victory defeat all things we feel and experience in life. Some are familiar with one side of the spectrum more than others; one can be more familiar with victory than defeat or one can be used to losing more than winning. Some people in life are naturally happy, and then you meet some people who are allergic to smiling and addicted to complaining. Whatever the reality, we still all experience and identify with both sides sometime.
The conversation about the half empty or the half full glass is an on going talk we can have to no conclusion; other than the fact the capacity of the fluid in the glass is half. Again we visit the topic of perception and interpretation. I have come to accept both, it all is necessary. A child needs a disciplinary as much as they need a nurturer. We need as much attention as we need to be left alone.
I write this on Thursday July 26th, 2012 on the train traveling to work. I know my co-worker will not be in work today due to the passing of his grandmother, but another co-worker is missing work due to the birth of his son. I am expressing the beauty of life and how we have to take it all in and realize it is all apart of living. There will always be cries and celebrations. The good and bad are always present (simultaneously, most times). The world is one of the biggest cyphers we can identify with. A cypher has no beginnings or endings it is only an on going cycle that rotates and will always continue. Life goes on!
