Some have told stories of you being real

But how many have really seen you?

Are you more of a status, a symbol?

A concept that we should strive for

Your rewards have never seemed rewarding

Is that because I have placed you in the wrong situations?

We’ve learned 2 plus 2 equals 4

But in a world exponential

Rarely are concepts rigid or linear

So you define as Faithful

To a person, cause or belief

Demonstrated by loyalty AND support

People change with time

Causes are for a need in time

And beliefs are built in time

With time, and are strengthened or weakened

By Time

So what do you change for, the time

With time or because of time?

If I see you correctly

You are the standard

Be faithful

Knowing things will change

And also knowing in change

Remain faithful

And new visions in a new time

Will offer the same or greater

Happiness, love, success

Frustration, anxiousness or pensiveness

You are a concept steady

In a world changing
