I sit here sippin’ wine

Sitting down, while I’m thinking

Wondering if I shine

Could I save a ship sinking?

Sit here and wonder why

While living what’s missing

It’s only after our lives

People begin to listen

So I sit down and write

Contemplating my mission

I’ll do it my own way

No need to ask permission

Sorry to those offended

Hope I’m granted forgiveness

I jot down my views

With experiences given

I think of my little cousin

When suicide was committed

What did he really want?

I wonder what he was wishing

I wonder if he spoke

And nobody chose to listen

If he felt all alone

From this world he felt forbidden

So he leaves with no goodbyes

Not even a good riddens

I know he felt small

From emotions that were hidden

I can relate

To the cries of the little girls and boys

If tree falls…no one hears

Did it really make noise?

I know that’s what we feel

As if nobody can hear

As if we are invisible

Transparent we’re clear

And when the ones say we’re close

Begin to lose hope

When we express ourselves

So we feel nobody knows

Us, for who we are

So we build a facade

That we’re living behind

As if it is a guard

Not knowing that we imprisoned

Ourselves behind these bars

All in attempt to hide all of our scars

I was born on this earth

But I know I am a star

Golden Child of the Sun

My Light will shine far

So I use my life

In attempt to heal all

Who feel they won’t add up

To beat the odds

I say that you’re alive

So begin to charge

In your direction

I promise no challenge is to large

You feel there’s nothing worse

So even those odds

Every reason you’re conceiving

Was given by GOD

If you believe it you’ll achieve it

You will receive it in awe

For what it is will be greater

Than the achievement in thought

You soul is priceless

It can never be bought

For everyday alive

A new value is caught

Which makes you stronger you no longer

Need a crutch for support

Your will be able to walk

Use life to live what you talk

For you will become the flame

That began with that spark

Now you are the light

That’s illuminating the dark

One color at a time

Is used to make art

Even Moses found a way

To make a river depart

I’m a Sagittarius

Shooting arrows like darts

That come straight

And pierce the minds of the army at large

But that’s enough of me expressing

What I mention is real

Not telling you what I know

I convey what I feel

And it’s that timing in GOD

Who chooses when to reveal

The chosen will to come through

Challenge your ideals

An acorn becomes an oak

A handshake forms deal

An illiterate child

Became and wrote on Solomon’s seal

This is directed to the people

Who are down at this time

You can only move up

So that mountain you climb

When in darkness I suggest

The light you find

The potential inside

Make it kinetic you’ll shine

The problem you feel you are

Will make you stronger presence

Shoot for perfection

And live through the essence

For the struggle will make you strong

Swing past the fences

For greatness is in us all

We all are true blessings
